7 Dual Zone Cooking El ement (on some models) The Dual Zone Cooking Element offers flexibility dep ending on the size of the cookware. Single size can be used in the sam e way as a regular elem ent. The dual size combines both the single and outer element and is recommended for lar ger size cookwar e.
8 Use flat-bottomed cookware for best cooking results and energ y efficiency . The cookware should be about the same size as the cooking ar ea outlined on th e cooktop. Cookwar e should not extend more than ½" (1.3 cm) outside th e ar ea. Home Ca nnin g Canning can be performed on a glass smooth top cooking surface.
9 Sabbat h Mode The Sa bbath Mo de sets the oven t o r emain on in a Bak e settin g until turned off. A Timed Bake can also be set to kee p the oven on for only part of the Sabbath. The Oven Contro l Lockout Feature (if present) will be disabled duri ng the Sabbath Mode.
10 P ositioning Racks and Bakeware IMPOR T ANT : T o avoid permanent damage to the porcelain finish, do not place food or bakew are dir ectly on the oven door or bottom. Bakeware T o cook food evenly , hot air must be able to cir cu late. Allow 2" (5 cm) of space ar ound bakeware and oven walls.
