Do not use the power tool if the Power Switch does not turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the Power Switch is dangerous and must be replaced.

Before using the Cut-Off Sa w , make sure the Cut-Off Wheel is properl y mounted on the Saw Spindle. Make sure the Cut-Off Wheel is balanced, and is not cracked or bent.

SKU 47003 P AGE 11 3. Unscrew and remove the Guard Retainer Screw (62). (See Figure D.) 4. Remov e the Swing Guard (61). Then, set the Swing Guard aside, making sure not to allow it to be bent or damaged; that can interfere with proper guard oper a- tion.

SKU 47003 P AGE 13 The Quic k Loc k Vise: 1. The Quick Loc k Vise allows f or the angle of cut to be adjusted from 0 to 45 de- grees to the left and 0 to 45 degrees to the right. T o adjust the angle of cut, loosen the two Scre ws (15). Mov e the Fixed Clamp (3) to the desired angle as indicated by the line on the Base (2) of the Cut-Off Sa w .
SKU 47003 P AGE 14 3. Plug the Power Cord (65) into the nearest 120 volt, grounded, electrical outlet. Depress the Safety Button (80) with your thumb, and squeeze the Power Switch (74) on the Handle (66, 71). Then, release the Safety Button. (See Figure J.
SKU 47003 P AGE 15 9. Once the cut is completed, turn off the Cut-Off Saw by releasing the P ow er Switch (74). This allows the Saf ety Button (80) to retur n to the “OFF” position.
